Google pay per call launching in the UK
Over the next few weeks, Google are rolling out the ability for advertisers to bid for phone calls on computer and tablets (in addition to ‘click to call’ on mobiles that already exists).
At present your ads are subject to a combination of your ad’s Quality Score and max CPC that determine ad rank. Similarily for bid per call, your £bid for phone calls and phone call Quality Score will affect your ad rank too.
There are problems with this development (as I touched on in my July bid per call post) however you need to be aware of this development and for some businesses this will prove a great way of generating more leads and sales in both B2B and B2C markets.
